Containertrading - Flatrack Container

Flatsrack – for the bulkier stuff.

As flatrack containers are open at the sides and on top, they are particularly suitable for cargo with above-average width or height.
Easy loading, high carrying capacity (up to 40 tons with 40´ flatracks) and the possibility to mount posts are further arguments in favor of a flatrack.

There are two kinds of flatrack containers: fixed end or collapsible flats with hinged ends. This in particular makes for cost-saving empty trips, as several collapsible flats can be stacked to fit the loading space of only one flat (ISO 20' or 40').
